Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This is a personal portfolio site. It has no accounts, no adverts and no tracking. The only way it collects anything about you is if you choose to fill in the contact form — everything below explains what happens when you do.
What the contact form collects
When you submit the form, these are sent to me by email:
- Your name
- Your email address
- What you are reaching out about (the dropdown selection)
- Your message
Nothing is pre-filled and nothing is taken from your browser. You type exactly what you want me to have.
Your IP address
To stop automated scripts from flooding the form, the server keeps a short-lived count of submissions per IP address. This count sits in memory for one hour and then disappears. It is never written to a database, never stored on disk and never linked to your message.
Where it goes and how long it is kept
Your submission becomes two emails: one to my inbox, and a confirmation to the address you gave so you have a record of what you sent. Both are sent through Gmail, so Google processes them the same way it processes any other email.
This site has no database. Your message is not saved anywhere on the site or its server — it exists only as email in my Gmail account. I keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is useful, and delete them when it is not. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session storage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The fonts are served from this site's own domain rather than fetched from Google, so loading a page does not tell any third party that you visited.
Who else is involved
Two services are unavoidably part of how the site runs:
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers record standard request logs, which include IP addresses.
- Google (Gmail) delivers the emails the contact form generates.
I do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and you will never be added to a mailing list — I have none.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email yeasir.cse.dev@gmail.com and I will act on it. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period — it is one person reading one inbox.
Children
This site is aimed at recruiters, collaborators and clients. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history to dig through — what you see here is what currently applies.
